Alina Popescu is the Secretary General of FIAD – the International Federation of Film Distributors’ Associations, previously serving as policy advisor since 2016. She has solid experience in the creative industry, previously working with the European Magazine Media Association, Liberty Global and the European Commission’s Copyright Unit. Alina’s passion was rewarded by being shortlisted for the Promising Newcomer category at the EuroPAwards 2017. She has a BA in Law from the University of Bucharest and an LLM in Corporate and Commercial Law from Maastricht University.
